In a multi-age classroom, students of different ages and skill levels may be given different roles in the classroom that match their varying levels of maturity and achievement. It's important to note that these roles, and the particular instruction students receive, may not necessarily correlate with their ages. With careful planning, student workbooks can be used just as effectively in a multi-age classroom as in a regular SRE classroom. To get the most out of them, it is important to spend some time at the beginning of each term making an overall term plan.
